From March 24, 2021, all foreign citizens, without exception, regardless of the country of arrival to enter Ukraine must have a policy (certificate) of insurance issued by an insurance company registered in Ukraine or a foreign insurance company that has a representative office in Ukraine or a contractual relationship with an insurance company - a partner on the territory of Ukraine (assistance), and covers the costs related to the treatment of COVID-19, observation, and is valid for the entire period of stay in Ukraine.
As well as a negative result of testing for COVID-19 by polymerase chain reaction that was done no more than 72 hours before crossing the state border.
Test is not required for children under 12 years.
For foreign citizens, there is no possibility to do the PCR test in Ukraine or self-isolate. In the absence of a test and/or insurance policy the border crossing for entry or transit will be denied.
The results of a negative PCR test for COVID-19 and an insurance policy are not required from transfer passengers who do not leave the airport transit zone and do not cross the border of Ukraine (unless otherwise provided by the requirements of the country that is the final point of their route).
The insurance policy, which was purchased through the portal, can be transferred for the required period for the tourist. The procedure for changing dates can be carried out several times.
Citizens of Ukraine and holders of a permanent residence permit to enter and transit the territory of Ukraine need to have a negative PCR test, which was carried out a maximum of 72 hours before crossing the border. In the absence of a test, you must install the "Vdoma" application - and go to a 14-day self-isolation.It is possible to complete self-isolation ahead of time in case of a negative PCR test result.
Test and self-isolation is not required for children under 12 years.
A citizen of Ukraine, or a person with a permanent residence permit may not buy an insurance policy.
A person's presence of a certificate of antibodies to COVID-19 or a vaccination certificate does not exempt him from the need to have the results of testing for COVID-19 by PCR before crossing the state border.
The simultaneous stay of visitors in the hotel lobby not more than one person per 10 square meters of serviceable area is allowed.
Persons can visit hotels and stay there (outside hotel room) only if they wear respirator or face mask (including homemade mask), so that the nose and mouth are covered.
Hotel guests are obliged to keep the 1.5 meters distance.
Online check-in making in advance is recommended to avoid queues at check-in to hotel.
Meals in hotels are provided through meals delivery service to rooms upon prior order or at hotel restaurants situated inside or in open areas, provided the distance of at least 1.5 meters between seats at adjacent tables.
Not more than 4 clients are allowed to stay at the table (excluding children under 14 years old). Unless these tables are separated by a special partition;
Self-serve is not allowed.
To stay in transport, shopping malls and entertainment centers, shops, premises while NOT wearing personal protective equipment, such as respirator or face mask, including homemade ones;
To leave observation places on your own.
Please keep the 1.5 m distance in catering sites, transport and premises.
Give preference to contactless payment for services and goods;
Use protective gloves in transport, public places and shopping malls.
Disinfect hands, mobile phone and headphones regularly.
Excursion groups can number up to 50 people. All passengers must wear face masks when making excursion on bus.
